The retail Sales data analysis was carried done with Power BI and it explores the following: Customer Behavior, Sales Performance, and operational trends. .
The analysis and visualization were done with Excel, and it gave insight into the attrition and termination rate of employees in relation to several parameters.
This Excel analysis gave insight into a company's historical sales data within two Years, and it compared performances across locations, day-category and lines of businesses etc.
I use Power BI to build interactive dashboards that turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Whether by summarizing KPIs or visualizing trends over time. I also create reports that help stakeholders make informed decisions quickly. I’m comfortable connecting Power BI to various data sources, cleaning and modeling data, and using DAX for advanced calculations.
Effective storytelling with data is a core part of my workflow. I focus on making data accessible and intuitive through clear visualizations, be it charts, graphs, or custom dashboards. I ensure each visual answers specific business questions, emphasizing clarity and purpose over complexity.
I make use of SQL for extracting and analyzing data from relational databases. From writing complex queries to joining tables, filtering records, and performing aggregations, SQL is the backbone of my data preparation process. I’ve used it in projects to track user behavior, generate reports, and validate data accuracy before visualization.
Excel remains one of my go-to tools for quick data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. I use it for everything from cleaning raw datasets to building pivot tables, dashboards, and using formulas to automate repetitive tasks. I also integrate Excel with other tools like Power BI for flexible data manipulation.
